Why belong to the Home Builders Association?
The Brookings Regional Builders Association was founded in 1990 in Brookings, SD. It members join more than 800 state and local associations across the country to make up the National Asociation of Home Builders.
About one-third of the NAHB's 235,000 members are home builders and/or remodelers. The remaining members are associates working in closely related fields within the housing industry, such as mortgage finance and building porducts and services. NAHB's builder members construct about 80 percent of the new homes constructed each year in the United States.
On a local level, the BRBA is involved in scholarship programs, the annual Home Show, Habitat for Humanity, the SDSU Student Home Builders Association and Construction Management Department.
